Fort Walton Beach Vikings (Fort Walton Beach, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Destin Sharks (Destin, FL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Fort Walton Beach improves its record to 4-12 on the season. The Vikings travel to Daphne (Daphne, AL) to meet the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 20-10. Daphne lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL)

Next, the Sharks meet the Choctawhatchee Indians (Fort Walton Beach, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Destin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Pace (Pace, FL).
