Holcomb Longhorns (Holcomb, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Dighton Hornets (Dighton, KS), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Holcomb improves its record to 11-2 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Wichita County (Leoti, KS) to encounter the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Indians go into the test with a record of 5-6. Wichita County lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Scott (Scott City, KS)

The Hornets now own a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Otis-Bison for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Dighton will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Quinter (Quinter, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 8-8.
