Larchmont Charter Timberwolves (West Hollywood, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Timberwolves (17-5) will now prepare for their challenge against University (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record.

Next, the Lions meet the Franklin Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Fairfax will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Wilson (Los Angeles, CA).
