California High School Volleyball - Union Mine can't get by Faith Christian

The Faith Christian Lions edged the visiting Union Mine Diamondbacks volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Lions now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Buckingham Charter for a Sacramento Metropolitan outing on Tuesday, September 23. Faith Christian will play a Knights team coming off a 3-1 league win over Valley Christian (Roseville, CA). The Knights record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Union Mine drops to 12-3 on the campaign. The Diamondbacks travel to East Nicolaus (Nicolaus, CA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Saturday, September 20. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 19-2. East Nicolaus won 3-0 in their recent league game against Winters (Winters, CA)
