Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Fall River over Wayland Academy

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Fall River Pirates (Fall River, WI) and the visiting Wayland Academy Big Red (Beaver Dam, WI), observed Fall River's volleyball team top Wayland Academy by a tally of 2-0.

The Pirates (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Green Lake/Princeton (Green Lake, WI). The Tigersharks enter the Trailways -West contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Green Lake/Princeton was beaten by Rio (Rio, WI), 3-2, in a league test.

The Big Red now own a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lourdes for a Trailways - East test on Tuesday, September 23. Wayland Academy will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Suring (Suring, WI). The Knights record now stands at 13-9.
