In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Forest Grove Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Sunset Apollos.

The Vikings (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Corvallis (Corvallis, OR). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Corvallis was defeated by West Albany (Albany, OR), 3-0, in a league test.

The Apollos now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host McMinnville for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Sunset will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Liberty (Hillsboro, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-2.
