Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The Hornets now have a 11-12 record. They play next when they host Fenwick for a non-league outing on Monday, September 22. Hinsdale South will play a Friars team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Friars record now stands at 16-7.

With the loss, Glenbard East drops to 7-12 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a Upstate Eight game on Tuesday, September 23. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 11-8. Riverside-Brookfield won 2-0 in their recent league game against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL)
