In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Granada Hills Charter Highlanders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers.

The Highlanders (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA). The Royals come into the West Valley challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, El Camino Real lost by Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers play the Roosevelt Rough Riders (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 20. Sun Valley Magnet will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Rough Riders go into the game with a 12-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Garfield (Los Angeles, CA).
