The Wolves (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Solon (Solon, IA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Solon beat Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers face the Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 22. Grinnell will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Cardinals go into the test with a 6-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, IA).
