In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting North Scott Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Grinnell Tigers.
The Lancers (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA). The enter the non-league test with a 10-8 record.
The Tigers now own a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newton for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Grinnell will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-7.
