Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grundy Center improves its record to 18-2 on the season. The Spartans host East Marshall (Le Grand, IA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 9-11. East Marshall lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against AGWSR (Ackley, IA)

The Cadets now own a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Algona for a North Central test on Tuesday, September 23. Iowa Falls-Alden will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.
