With the win, Grundy Center improves its record to 18-2 on the season. The Spartans host East Marshall (Le Grand, IA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 9-11. East Marshall lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against AGWSR (Ackley, IA)

The Mohawks now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshalltown for a Iowa Alliance - North test on Tuesday, September 23. Mason City will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-9.
