In Saturday's non-league match, the Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV), by a count of 2-0.
Next up, the Trojans battle the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 23. Hampshire will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 10-17 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV).
The Patriots now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Hope Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23.
