South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Hampton-Dumont/CAL (Hampton, IA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Chickasaws come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, New Hampton was beaten by Van Meter (Van Meter, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the meet the Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Hampton-Dumont/CAL will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Lynx come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA).
