In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Harvard-Westlake Wolverines volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Huntington Beach Oilers.
With the win, Harvard-Westlake improves its record to 18-4 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Gaels in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Gaels go into the test with a record of 13-4. Bishop Gorman won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)
The Oilers now own a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corona del Mar for a Sunset - Surf test on Tuesday, September 23. Huntington Beach will meet a Sea Kings team coming off a 3-0 league win over Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA). The Sea Kings record now stands at 12-10.
