Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Norsemen (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Perry (Perry, IA). The Bluejays come into the Heart of Iowa challenge with a 0-12 record. In their last challenge, Perry was beaten by Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Clarion-Goldfield Cowboys (Clarion, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Humboldt will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record.
