Nebraska High School Volleyball - Maxwell over Hyannis

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE) and the visiting Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE), observed Maxwell's volleyball team top Hyannis by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcats (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Sumner-Eddyville-Miller (Sumner, NE). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller was defeated by Amherst (Amherst, NE), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Longhorns now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumner-Eddyville-Miller for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. Hyannis will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Amherst (Amherst, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-2.
