Nebraska High School Volleyball - Sumner-Eddyville-Miller over Hyannis

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs (Sumner, NE) and the visiting Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE), saw Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's volleyball squad notch a victory over Hyannis by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Maxwell (Maxwell, NE) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 5-5. Maxwell lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Overton (Overton, NE)

The Longhorns now own a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mullen for a D2 District 10 contest on Friday, September 26. Hyannis will meet a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Brady (Brady, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 9-3.
