Iowa High School Volleyball - Maquoketa Valley can't get by Independence

The Independence Mustangs edged the visiting Maquoketa Valley Wildcats volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Delaware for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 23. Independence will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Maquoketa Valley (Delhi, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 15-4.
The Wildcats (8-12) will now prepare for their game against Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 10-7 record. In their last game, Edgewood-Colesburg held off North Linn (Troy Mills, IA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
