The Mount Ayr Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Interstate 35 Roadrunners to 0 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Raiders now have a 15-7 record. They play next when they host Martensdale-St. Mary's for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 23. Mount Ayr will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to East Mills (Malvern, IA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-5.

The Roadrunners (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Bulldogs go into the West Central game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Van Meter gained a win over New Hampton (New Hampton, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
