Munising Mustangs (Munising, MI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 15-1 record. In their last challenge, Forest Park beat North Dickinson (Felch, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mountaineers meet the Kingsford Flivvers (Kingsford, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Iron Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Flivvers go into the test with a 11-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Marquette (Marquette, MI).
