In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting West Central Trojans volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats.

The Trojans (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Dakota Valley edged Canton (Canton, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Wildkats face the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD) in a B Region 5 game, on Tuesday, September 23. Kimball/White Lake will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Jaguars go into the game with a 8-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to West Central (Hartford, SD).
