Louisiana High School Volleyball - Lafayette Christian Academy can't get by Southside

September 20, 2025: Youngsville, LA

Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Southside advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Sharks travel to Houma Christian (Houma, LA) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Houma Christian won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA)

Next, the Knights play the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Lafayette Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA).
