In Saturday's non-league bout, the Lakeland Christian Vikings (Lakeland, FL) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL), by a margin of 2-0.

The Vikings now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they host Auburndale for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. Lakeland Christian will clash with a Bloodhounds team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Bartow (Bartow, FL). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 9-9.
