Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Tigers come into the South Suburban challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Farmington beat Rosemount (Rosemount, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Worthington for a Big South - West test on Tuesday, September 23. Marshall will face a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Red Wing (Red Wing, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 6-5.
