Minnesota High School Volleyball - Mayer Lutheran over Mabel-Canton

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mayer Lutheran Crusaders (Mayer, MN) and the visiting Mabel-Canton Cougars (Mabel, MN), observed Mayer Lutheran's volleyball team top Mabel-Canton by a count of 2-0.

The Crusaders (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Fillmore Central was knocked off by Stewartville (Stewartville, MN), 3-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cougars battle the Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) in a Southeast battle, on Tuesday, September 23. Mabel-Canton will attempt to improve on its 19-2 season record. The Burros go into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Southland (Adams, MN).
