Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Waverly Bulldogs (Waverly, KS) and the host Marmaton Valley Wildcats (Moran, KS), observed Waverly's volleyball team top Marmaton Valley by a tally of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Riverton (Riverton, KS). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Riverton achieved victory over St. Mary's-Colgan (Pittsburg, KS), 3-0, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeast for a Three Rivers test on Tuesday, September 23. Marmaton Valley will face a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 league win over St. Paul (St. Paul, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 10-5.
