Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA), observed Valley Christian's volleyball team top Menlo-Atherton by a tally of 2-0.

The Warriors (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA). The Gators enter the non-league contest with a 7-0 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart Prep beat Notre Dame (Belmont, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Bears meet the Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Menlo-Atherton will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 2-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Mercy (Burlingame, CA).
