With the win, Montezuma improves its record to 14-8 on the season. The Braves host Sigourney (Sigourney, IA) to face the Savages in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Savages go into the test with a record of 8-3. Sigourney won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA)

Next, the Mustangs meet the Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA) in a Bluegrass challenge, on Monday, September 22. Murray will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Centerville (Centerville, IA).
