In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Montezuma Braves volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Twin Cedars Sabers.
Next up, the Braves face the Sigourney Savages (Sigourney, IA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 22. Montezuma will attempt to advance on its 14-8 season record. The Savages go into the game with a 8-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Lynnville-Sully (Sully, IA).
The Sabers (4-13) will now prepare for their game against Lamoni (Lamoni, IA). The Demons come into the Bluegrass outing with a 2-7 record.
