St. Anthony Bulldogs (Effingham, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, St. Anthony improves its record to 12-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL) to encounter the Rams in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Rams go into the test with a record of 9-3. Shelbyville won 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Tuscola (Tuscola, IL)

Next, the Braves play the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins (Glen Carbon, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 20. Mt. Zion will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record.
