Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) and the visiting Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), observed Neuqua Valley's volleyball team top Sandburg by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcats (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Redhawks go into the battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Naperville Central achieved victory over West Aurora (Aurora, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln-Way East for a SouthWest Suburban battle on Tuesday, September 23. Sandburg will encounter a Griffins squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Minooka (Minooka, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 10-7.
