In Saturday's non-league match, the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Comets encounter the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 23. North Polk will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 9-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA).
The Cubs now own a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greene County for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 25. Nevada will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA). The Rams record now stands at 6-7.
