The Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM) volleyball overcame the host Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Mountaineers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Laguna Acoma dropped by Gallup (Gallup, NM), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe Prep for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. Pecos will encounter a Blue Griffins squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Blue Griffins record now stands at 5-2.
