The Ranburne Bulldogs (Ranburne, AL) volleyball knocked off the host Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now hold a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jacksonville Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 20. Ranburne will battle a Thunder team coming off a 3-0 league win over Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL). The Thunder record now stands at 5-2.

Next, the Bulldogs battle the Glencoe Yellowjackets (Glencoe, AL) in a 3A Area 12 contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Piedmont will attempt to improve on its 3-9 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a 18-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL).
