In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Springfield Millers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Pleasant Hill Billies.

The Millers (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Eagle Point (Eagle Point, OR). The Eagles enter the 5A Midwestern challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Eagle Point was tipped by North Eugene (Eugene, OR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Billies meet the Creswell Bulldogs (Creswell, OR) in a 3A Mountain Valley test, on Tuesday, September 23. Pleasant Hill will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 5-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Sisters (Sisters, OR).
