In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Redwood Valley Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sibley East Wolverines.

The Cardinals (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN). The Buccaneers go into the Big South - East test with a 2-7 record.

Next, the Wolverines face the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants (Le Sueur, MN) in a South Central game, on Tuesday, September 23. Sibley East will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Giants go into the game with a 4-10 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Edgerton (Edgerton, MN).
