In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Redwood Valley Cardinals.

The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Sibley East (Arlington, MN). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Sibley East went down by Maple River (Mapleton, MN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Cardinals now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nicollet for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Redwood Valley will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Loyola (Mankato, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 1-7.
