The South Winneshiek Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Rockford Warriors to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now have a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to New Hampton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 23. South Winneshiek will play a Chickasaws team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Van Meter (Van Meter, IA). The Chickasaws record now stands at 7-8.
With the loss, Rockford drops to 11-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Waterloo Christian (Waterloo, IA) to confront the Regents in a non-league game on Monday, September 22. The Regents go into the game with a record of 0-0.
