San Marin Mustangs (Novato, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Westlake Charter Explorers (Sacramento, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 7-9 record. In their last test, Douglas went down by Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV), 3-0, in a league test.

The Explorers now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Patrick-St. Vincent for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Westlake Charter will face a Bruins squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Hercules (Hercules, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 6-10.
