In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Western Christian Pioneers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Yoncalla Eagles.
The Pioneers (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakridge (Oakridge, OR). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Oakridge beat Glide (Glide, OR), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles play the Lost River Raiders (Merrill, OR) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 20. Yoncalla will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record.
