The Jefferson Cavaliers held off the host Washington Warriors soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Tuesday's league match.
The Cavaliers now sport a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Riggs for a Class AA game on Saturday, September 25. Jefferson will clash with a Governors squad coming off a 0-0 league Yankton (Yankton, SD). The Governors record now stands at 7-3.
