The James Island Trojans topped the visiting Philip Simmons Iron Horses volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Trojans now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hilton Head Island for a test on Tuesday, September 27. James Island will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over May River (Bluffton, SC). The Seahawks record now stands at 2-0.
The Iron Horses (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Wando gained a win over Hanahan (Hanahan, SC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
