Somers Tuskers (Lincolndale, NY) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Pearl River Pirates (Pearl River, NY), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tuskers face the Pelham Memorial Pelicans (Pelham, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 23. Somers will attempt to better on its 7-0 season record. The Pelicans enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY).
The Pirates now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Tappan Zee for a Conference 2 League B challenge on Thursday, September 29.
