Virginia High School Football - Altavista topped by William Campbell

The Altavista Colonels football team (Altavista, VA), was beaten 28-20 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting William Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA)

The Generals (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Gretna achieved victory over Chatham (Chatham, VA), 56-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Colonels now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Appomattox County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 28. Altavista will meet a Raiders team coming off a 22-14 non-league win over Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
