The Grimsley Whirlies topped the visiting Western Alamance Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Whirlies now have a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest Guilford for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 27. Grimsley will confront a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-0.

The Warriors (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Orange was knocked off by Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
