Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans face the Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge, on Saturday, September 24. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Hawkeyes enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 6-1 league loss to Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA).

The now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lake-Lehman for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 24. MMI Preparatory School will face a Knights team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
