The North Polars held off the host Hastings Raiders volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.
The Polars now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tartan for a Metro East game on Friday, September 23. North will meet a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Harding (St. Paul, MN). The Titans record now stands at 4-4.
The Raiders (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Zephyrs enter the Metro East game with a 10-2 record. In their last game, Mahtomedi nipped Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN), 3-0, in a league game.
