The Ledyard Colonels volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting New London Whalers to 0 in the Colonels non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Colonels now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bacon Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Large game on Thursday, September 22. Ledyard will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 4-3.
The Whalers (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Redmen enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Killingly was dropped by Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT), 3-0, in a non-league game.
