The Plainfield Panthers volleyball team (Central Village, CT), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT)

The Lancers (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Griswold defeated Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut - Small challenge, on Friday, September 23. Plainfield will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Griswold (Griswold, CT).
